Past Updates from Tom Atkins Online.

Happy New Year everyone. :) There has been a small delay in updates, but I'm hoping to catch up soon. A lot of events have happened since my last post. Starting with my cousin going to jail and then the sudden passing of a family pet. Also my friend has been extremely annoying about his website, so it's been difficult to sit down and work on TAO.

I actually made an MS page a couple of years back, but entered a wrong email, so I was never able to work on it! I have a decent page up now, so add the TOA MS page to your friends list!

Krissette has returned. This year has gone by fast. During the Summer I wasn't on my computer that much as my cousin visiting from Arizona had taken over. I couldn't go online alone work on websites. After that random events happened. I met up with this comedian/actor named Greg Travis, who asked me to work on his site, which has been hectic. I'm also hoping to work on a Lance Henriksen fan page, but I have no idea where that will go until I can get a domain. Now the Holidays are coming up. Oh my! Is anyone else glad that 2007 is almost over?

I took some screen caps from Halloween: 25 Years Later, which I will be adding this evening. I still need to take a few more from a different selection on that DVD. I'm hoping to pick up a copy of Two Evil Eyes this week. Maybe Best Buy will have it.

Added 45 caps of episode 16 called Sleight of Hand from Season one of The Rockford files. More to be added this weekend and all through out next week until my trial on Netflix expires. :)

Okay a quick change of plans. I took Two Evil Eyes out of my list on NetFlix becuz I can easily buy that anytime and I probably will this summer. Instead I'm renting all 9 episodes Tom Atkins has been in of The Rockford Files. I thought I'd take advantage of my free two week trial before it ends. Then this summer when I can ask my Dad about it (I'll catch him when he's in a good mood) I'll join Netflix for a couple of months and rent some more TV shows he has been apart of. Sworn To Vengeance arrived today and I started capping it. I will be adding it this evening in the photo gallery section and of course Tarantulas will be completed soon. Hopefully this week.

After I finish Tarantulas, Sworn To Vengeance and The Rockford Files I'm going to take a break from the site for a while and work on a Lance Henriksen fan site I recently started, if I have enough time with my cousin out here for summer, but that doesn't mean I won't keep this site updated. I am still going to pull my laptop out and add some fan photos and stories that have been sent to me. I think I've lost a lot of entries due to my computer, but if so I'll send out requests again for the photos. I'm going to take a break from capping @ the most until I can get some extra $$$ and buy more of Tom's movies to add to my collection. I'm also hoping to score some more rare movies and of course as stated before my uncle will help transfer some movies onto DVD for me.

Oh and one more thing I started a small forum for fans of Tom Atkins. The poll went well (Thanks to everyone who voted), so I will also be adding that this evening. It's not much, but I thought a small place to get together would be nice. That way everyone could keep in touch about conventions, movies, share stories/experiences meeting Tom or even post messages to Tom himself. I'm sure he'll probably check it out when he gets a chance to visit the site. I'll post tonight when the caps and forum are up and running. :)

I'm behind again. My sincere apologies. I've been really stressed out. Dakota is visiting less than two weeks from now (Hopefully two. My Mom is thinking of pushing back her visit a week due to a lot of appointments after we pick her up on the 26th). It's been hard getting stuff done. A lot of this should have began around March, but time goes by so fast! I've also started other projects in the evening like building my Mom a dry walkway in the entrance of her garden along with the pond, so time is limited right now. I'm still going to finish up Tarantulas. Today I joined Netflix. I rented Two Evil Eyes and Sworn To Vengeance. My friend was having troubles with STV, so I decided to rent it myself. I'm going to cap both movies asap after I receive them by Tuesday/Wednesday as I only have a free two week trial. I think I also might add The Rockford Files as well in my cart, haha. Might as well for now!! :)

OooO, btw, TAO was down earlier today. I'm not sure how long it's been down. I checked today and spotted the error. My Dad had to cancel out his bank card after Boomspeed for some odd reason charged me when I don't use their service. So I had to wait a bit before I could pay for the site on another card. There shouldn't be anymore troubles now.

No updates yet. I've been falling behind once more. Everything is piling up. My cousin will be out here in another week or so. It'll be the first time she's going to visit for the summer and the third time I've met her. Things have been hectic becuz of this. I've been helping my Mom repaint her room and we're trying to get everything organized before she arrives. Time goes by so fast! I haven't finished capping Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo. For shame! Hopefully, just hopefully if I can manage to get some extra work done near this weekend I can start up again on the website by Monday or so. I'll keep you posted and let you know. :)

Night of the Creeps has finally been recapped. I'm surprised, but I was able to get 40 more extra caps. More than Halloween 3, thus adding 255 caps to the gallery! w00t, haha. :) It took me a while to take/add the caps. I was able to start Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo, but tonight I'm hoping to finish it. If not then work on it a little each night until it's complete. I'm still waiting for Sworn to Vengeance and hopefully I can get a copy of Dying to be Perfect. Also my uncle has been transferring his VHS tapes to DVD and he said he'd help out and make me some DVD copies of my VHS tapes. I'm going to find my copy of Special Delivery (aka Dangerous Break) so he can transfer it for me. <3

Okay, I'm going to start capping Night of the Creeps tonight. I couldn't log in most of the week becuz there was a 'temporary' error, but since the error continued on longer than expected I researched it and found out that Yahoo! will ban or block the IP if there is a lot of activity becuz they feel that it's suspicious. So, it wasn't on purpose, but I guess since I kept logging in and out to work on all three/three and a half of my websites they felt that was suspicious. I emailed them and they said that I might either need to use another computer OR contact my internet provider, though I knew what the error was and I bought a new computer so I could work on my websites, so I explained the sudden use of Geocities and that I needed to get work done before summer. That way there will be more added on the websites and I can take a break and not work on them so much during summer as my cousin will be visiting for the first time. I didn't hear back from them, but low and behold Geocities is working again. Yay, haha. Of course there will be random updates on the site during summer, but I'm getting as many caps replaced (Most of them are done now. I just need to get NOTCs capped) and then after I'll cap new movies when I get them. Tarantulas should be arriving in the mail this week too. :)

I haven't taken new NOTC caps yet. I was planning on taking some caps tonight, but I got too much involved with html on another site and the next thing I know it's after 1 AM. :( I will hopefully take a handful tomorrow and then continue my work Monday as I have plans this Easter Sunday. We're going to be with my Dad's family Sunday. Atlas. They're not really fun to be around. I'd explain, but by the time I'd finish writing about them it'd be well after 4 AM, haha! I'll just say that they like to fight/yell a lot, some drink and distance themselves, others are overly bossy/loud. That kinda thing. I don't like to be around that, you know? Especially on the holidays. Anyway, I did manage to take caps of Desperate Lives yesterday afternoon. The DVD copy from an original VHS tape didn't turn out bad at all! I got some great caps. I hope you like them. Many thanks to Trace for sending me a copy. Now I need to get off my lazy arse and send her a copy of Peter's movie. I'm still waiting for Sworn to Vengeance. I should have joined netflix for two weeks just to take caps of the movie, but hopefully my friend will send it soon. Haha. I'll keep you updated on that. Everyone have a great Easter. I haven't started capping Night of the Creeps yet, but I will start either this evening or tomorrow. I'm also waiting for my friend to email me a copy of Sworn to Vengeance tonight so I may cap that as well and then next week I'll cap Tarantulas. I'm expecting one more movie in the mail (Trading someone a copy of a Peter Sellers DVD for a copy of Desperate Lives) and then after that I have to wait a while for any new DVDs to cap. I'm kinda officially broke, lol. Some TV personality veteran named Joe Franklin is selling me some memorabilia that Divine and Peter Sellers once owned and let's just say that although he might have some money from the show he's charging a lot for these items. I must say that I am grateful though becuz he gave me a better deal personally to help me out since I'm a huge fan of both actors rather than selling them for a lot more money on Ebay, but I will be broke for a while after this, haha. My Dad is helping me buy these items, but maybe around June or so if I can save up some extra money I can get a couple of more of Tom Atkins' movies. In the meantime I will continue to work on other sections of the site, including the fan center, videos, soundtracks and maybe add a small forum for the fans.

The Bruiser photo gallery has been updated this morning with 57 new screen caps. The last movie I will be updating tomorrow evening is none other than Night of the Creeps. After that new movies will be capped and added! :)

New caps have been replaced in the Lethal Weapon photo gallery. 36 new caps total. I have also added a new fan section. I'm going to start adding photos/stories that have been submitted as soon as I can after capping a few more movies. I hope I have most of the photos that fans have sent from the past couple of years. Sadly AOL deleted most of my saved mail when I wasn't able to save/record all the information sent to me. My old computer has been disconnected and placed in the garage, but if none of the photos I have been given are on my laptop I might have to hook up my computer again so I can trace all my old mail. I think I do have some photos on there, but not the info. IE: Date/names, etc. This is why I've switched to gmail. That way if I am ever away from my mail for too long I know it'll be there for me when I return.

I have very good news, btw, I have added two new movies in the photo gallery section: Desperate Lives & Sworn to Vengeance. A myspace friend is going to rent Sworn to Vengeance and download it for me so I may cap it in a few days and for Desperate Lives I will be burning a copy of one of my Peter Sellers documentaries and trading it for a DVD copy of this rare VHS gem. I'm also trying to get a copy of Dying to Be Perfect: The Ellen Hart Pena Story, but I don't know how well that will go as the seller wants like nearly $20 dollars for a DVD copy and I'm kind of broke due to my insane habit of collecting Peter Sellers photos, haha. Hopefully we can trade or bargain somehow. Even just borrowing a copy would help. The two I'm especially on the look out for are A Stranger Waits and Dangerous Break. I had Dangerous Break on VHS, but I have no idea what I did with it. I remember selling a lot of VHS tapes last summer, so I'm really, really hoping I didn't throw it in with the other ones. Once I get a couple of more photos of Peter on ebay (Vintage photos. I told you. I have an insane habit) I'm going to save up some money for Cry in the Wild and Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo. For now Fog caps will be made tomorrow. I decided to rest my back until tomorrow evening. I've been hutched over @ the comp for way too long.

Also one last thing, I have added a poll near the bottom of the site. I was wondering since so many fans enjoy Tom's work and this site, would you enjoy a small forum so you can all get together and chat? I could keep you updated on my work with the site/future updates and you could of course talk about Tom, his convention dates/appearances/plays/movies. That'd help keep me updated in case he ever went somewhere close enough where I could meet him and maybe it'd help with the photo request! Vote and let me know. The poll will be up for a while.

I have finished the Halloween 3 gallery. Yay, haha. It took me a while tonight, but it's complete. 215 caps total. There are also a handful of extra caps from various scenes of other actors and events that I wanted to throw in as well. Tomorrow I will start on Lethal Weapon if I get the DVD from my friend otherwise I'll work on new Fog caps. After I replace some more caps later this week I am going to work on the audio section. I just downloaded the Halloween 3 score tonight, which made think of adding soundtracks to the audio page. If I have enough disk space then I will add mp3 downloads to various OSTs including Halloween 3 and The Fog. If I don't have enough disk space, then I will make another geocities site and link the files up from there. We'll see. I'll keep you updated as I continue my work on the site. For now all the time spent this evening has officially killed my back (arthritis, ack!), so I am off to bed. <3

I'm still updating the site slowly. Halloween 3 has been made in the Photo gallery section. I've been taking 20-40 caps a day, so check back on that page often as new photos are being added. So far there are 75 caps, but I'm sure there will be near 200 or so after I'm done capping the movie.

Hey all. I didn't have time to post about an update, but new caps were made and posted during the weekend. On Saturday I added new screen caps for Striking Distance and last night I published some new caps for Lemon Sky. Lemon Sky really needed new photos too. Today I finished adding the rest of the caps, so we now have 123 new screen caps for our Lemon Sky collection. This evening I will start capping Halloween 3. :)

More work has been done in the photo gallery this evening/early morning. I updated Escape from New York and Maniac Cop with new screen caps. Maniac Cop took me about 3 hours. I don't have the new special edition DVD, so the one I have is really really bad quality. It kept freezing up on my computer and I actually had to restart a couple of times just to get the movie to work again. That was tough, but we now have --- 92 caps in the gallery. Compared to only about 16 before I believe. Yup. I was busy. :) Check them out when you can. I'm able to cap more than I was before, so a lot of caps have been made and more to come this weekend. <3

I added new screen caps for both Creepshow and The Fog outtakes. There are now more Creepshow caps than there were before. Around 10+ I believe. I'm hoping to replace The Fog and Lemon Sky caps tomorrow. I have a busy weekend coming up, so if I am unable to get to either tomorrow evening I will sometime before the weekend is out. Drop me a line and let me know what you think of the new caps. :)

Yay for updates! :) I haven't done much (YET), but tonight I have added some new screen caps for Bob Roberts. You can check them out here. I'm so happy! No more 'web cam' screen caps anymore. Haha. I can't believe I actually did that, but at the time I was desperate and desperate times call for desperate measures (Plus you gotta admit they didn't turn out too bad). I'm going to be replacing all the old caps with better shots slowly, but surely. I do appreciate all the emails and guest book comments you have made about the caps I made prior to having a new computer. I'm really glad fans didn't mind seeing such bad caps. I'm off to take some more. I think I'll replace some of 'The Fog' outtake caps.

I'm back. A few days after my last update in October my laptop messed up. I had unscrewed the back of it a few weeks prior to look @ the battery becuz of a Dell recall and after a while the screen would go blank whenever the bottom was touched, so I ended up back on my old comp, which limited me to only certain things like checking my email :( We just bought a new Dell (We're also going to get my laptop fixed as well, but I needed a main computer for my sites) so I am officially back on. There won't be anymore troubles for a while! I have added the new address for Tom Atkins for fanmail/autograph requests. I'm sorry for not adding that sooner before my laptop went screwy. I will now be able to add better screen caps in the next couple of weeks. We're trying to get the clutter out of our house and repaint and stuff before my cousin comes out for the summer for the first time, but I'll be able to work @ night and add more stuff. Also I'm hoping to purchase some new Tom Atkins movies on Amazon when I can so there will be new screen caps of other movies too. - Kristina.

Most of the pages match the new layout. I'm going to finish them up hopefully today. If not then probably tomorrow or within the next few days. Mostly the photo gallery needs work. I'm hoping to add some new icons also.

Yay the new layout is up! :) I like it a lot. I hope you do too! The other layout was driving me nuts, haha. Within the next few days I will be changing the other links to match this layout, so hang in there! New screen caps, again just to let everyone know, won't be up for a while, but I'll let you know when I will be adding them!

Haha. I am wicked! I took the time today to create a more simple, easier layout for all of you. The other layout was starting to give me a headache as I'm sure it was doing to all of you! Yikes. The new one will have a tad more color to it - More white and the red will be more brighter. The links will be cut in half that way you don't have to click all over to get to different areas. It took me a while, since it has been a year or so since I have been able to take the time to create a new one. It's almost ready. I'm hoping to add it tonight perhaps. Wish me luck.

Major major lack of updates. Shame on me! I apologize immensely. I haven't been able to really do much html work on here due to my computer, but recently I transferred everything over to my laptop until I get a new computer. After that the updates will be pouring in I swear! I will be adding a new fan address in a few days once I go through my emails and find it and hopefully I can add some fan photos. Once I'm on a better computer I will also also switching emails becuz I am never able to save fan emails before AOL deletes them. I will be getting a screen capture device, so say good-bye to my bad webcam caps, haha. Better ones will indeed be replacing the others along with new caps from different movies. Thanks to websites like YouTube I can link videos and stuff on here and I'm hoping to add a new layout for the website entirely. Again these changes won't take place for a while until I'm on a better computer, but until then I will be adding little additions here and now.

Hey gang, sooo sorry. I swear I'm not dead! Things have been so crazy here with the holidays and family. Even with friends and major comp problems, but I am alive and well! I hope you all are too. *Nudge* *Nudge* Anyway, the site will receive a makeover after the holidays. New updates, new color scheme maybe and hopefully more added on here. I'll probably actually start working on the site in the next day or so! I do need help though:

I need your help! I would like to add a section on here dedicated to the fans and their experiences with Tom. I don't know why it's taken me so long to do this, but I wanna add one! What I need from you (The loyal fans) are photos of you and Tom, any stories you have about meeting him and so on! I too, wish I could add my own photos or stories, but atlas I have yet to meet Tom! :( But I'd really appreciate it if you could help me out. I am so sorry for the lack of updates gang. I really do apologize. Things have been really hectic for me lately. I've been helping my 'rents with the house becuz they wanna move later this year and I've been having problems with friends, family, and so on, but I promise in the next week for sure I'm going to add some new screen caps and work on some new graphics.

Thanks to Tom for signing the guestbook as well. I'm so glad you like the website! I've been meaning to send you something for a while now to give my thanks for the autographs, but I keep forgetting. I shall send something soon though! Thanks again. :)

Changed the layout a little bit, added more sections that are still in the making. I also moved the photo gallery to its own section. It'll be back up in a few days. Also added two new affiliates and a link to Horrorfind's Arizona weekend convention which Tom Atkins is going to be apart of this coming Halloween!
